If you are looking for hygienic cladding suppliers, you will find that there are quite a few of them online. However, a fair number of these are one-man businesses operating out of a back bedroom somewhere. They don’t hold any stocks of any description but are in fact just salesmen offering what they describe as “hygienic” cladding at a certain price. They then pass the order on to a company that does actually hold stocks.
Everybody has a right to earn a living, but there are a couple of problems with this. First, the price they give you is quite obviously more than the price that you could get it for if you ordered it direct from the people that they buy it from – assuming you knew who they were. Second, they offer no customer support whatsoever. They cannot possibly do so because all they are doing is taking your order and passing it on to a third party. If there is something wrong with your order when it arrives, who do you talk to about it? You can’t really go to the supplier, because your contract was with the individual who took your order.
Next, it is not only the kitchen wall cladding that you need, but all the bits and pieces that go with it such as adhesive, plastic rivets, gloss wall sealer, H sections, and so on.
Finally, you don’t know what you are really getting. You may finish up with an inferior foam board rather than top quality PVC cladding. Be very careful when ordering wall cladding, and make sure you deal directly with a stockist.
